Western Australian College of Agriculture - Morawa

An agricultural co-educational college for students in Years 10 to 12. The boarding facilities are amongst the best in the state. The farm caters for a wide range of interests including, cattle, pigs, sheep & wheat farming. The school has an Open Day in August of every year to show off the skills that the students have learnt during their stay.

Dynamic and unique educational opportunities abound in the Shire of Morawa. The driving force behind this progressive environment is the North Midlands  Education and Industry Training Alliance (NMEITA).

NMEITA is a partnership between the Morawa District High School, the WA College of Agriculture, the Shire of Morawa, Central Regional TAFE, Midwest Chamber of Commerce, Karara Mining Limited and Midwest SinoSteel.

The Alliance works by the theory of “thinking outside the square” in order to have Morawa recognised as an outstanding educational service provider in regional WA. NMEITA's vision is:

“To provide high quality, customer-focused education and training programs that will attract and retain the youth of the region, and to be recognised as an outstanding educational service provider in regional Western Australia”.
