Morawa Visitors Information Centre
The Morawa Visitors Information Centre opens for the Wildflower season and has great information for all visitors. The Morawa Visitors Information Centre volunteers are a wealth of local knowledge about where to go, what to see, and details about local facilities, and other points of interest are shared daily from our team. The Morawa Visitors Centre also has a wide range of souvenirs, gifts and local crafts available for purchase.
The Morawa Visitors Centre is located in the Old Road Boards Building next to the Town Hall on the Corner of Dreghorn Street and Prater Street. With ample caravan parking at the rear of the building. The Centre was established in 1986 as a result of enthusiastic support from farmers and business people alike. It is staffed solely by our local volunteers. Our volunteers do a wonderful job promoting our Shire and have some interesting stories to tell.
So make sure you pop in and have a chat with them while you are here.

As part of the ‘Wildflower Country’, Morawa showcases a beautiful array of wildflowers during the spring months, with everlastings and rare orchids found only a short walk from the town site.
In addition to wildflowers, the Shire is also home to an array of attractions, ranging from heritage architecture, historic Canna, natural wonders like Bilya Rock and Koolanooka Springs, clear night skies for stargazing, our historical museum and local walk trails.
