SHIRE OF MORAWA

PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

SECTION 3.50 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995

BURTON ROAD, MORAWA

At the request of CBH, the Shire of Morawa is proposing to temporarily close Burton Road, Morawa between Mullewa-Wubin Road and Lodge Street/Powell Street intersection to all public vehicles from 9 September 2020 until 31 January 2021, as shown below:

The purpose of the temporary closure is to provide alternate safe access to the Morawa CBH Bin and to position a mobile Sample Hut and mobile Weighbridge on or near the closed road. Vehicles accessing CBH, along with emergency and utility services vehicles and personnel will be permitted to enter closed Burton Road.

Submissions on the proposal should be made in writing and lodged with the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Morawa, PO Box 14, Morawa WA 6623 or via ea@morawa.wa.gov.au, on or before noon Tuesday 8 September 2020.
