The Shire of Morawa advises that ALL ROADS are open effective from 1pm on today (02/08/2024) to Heavy Combination Class vehicles (HC - trailer more than 9 T GVM or Prime Mover + Semi Trailer). Roads still remain closed to Multi-Combination Class vehicles (B Double or Road Train).

Due to current road conditions after last nights rainfall, all Shire of Morawa unsealed roads will be closed to HEAVY VEHICLES effective immediately Thursday 01/08/2024. Road conditions will be reviewed regularly.

The Shire of Morawa advises that due to road and weather conditions, ALL UNSEALED ROADS in the Shire of Morawa will be closed to vehicles over 4.5 TONNES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY on 29/07/2024 - with the exception of school buses. Road conditions will be reviewed regularly, with a staged re-opening.
